Washington State Loses Jobs while Other States Gain

Washington State lost over nine thousand more jobs from July to August while other states are gaining them. In today's economy, states are competing for business and employers. Washington is losing that competition. States that are winning include Texas (adding 129,000 jobs), Indiana (adding 40,000 jobs), and Minnesota (adding 30,500 jobs) are adding them.

Why are these other states winning? Because they realize that a return to prosperity by attracting business is the key to paying their bills rather than increasing taxes and regulation.
